TWO YEAR AGREEMENT BETWEEN ELIA SAMMARTIN AND GAZZA RACING: AMBITIOUS GOALS

Martigny (Switzerland), 12 January 2024 – The agreement for the two-year 2024-2025 has been made official with the multiple Italian Supermoto champion Sammartin who will participate in the S1GP class. A great goal with the team of Max Gazzarata and Vittoria Di Rienzo is to compete for the World Championship, which the 1991 class from Arzignano will do astride the Honda CRF 450R of the Turin structure.

Elia Sammartin: “I am truly over the moon to announce this very important agreement. I am proud to represent RedMoto and to compete with Honda again. This is why I want to give my all, making all my experience and skills available to achieve all the goals we have set ourselves together with the Gazza Racing Team. I would like to personally thank all the people who gave me this opportunity, starting with Egidio Motta, CEO of RedMoto and Max and Vittoria for believing in me. I can’t wait to get on the bike and start the test program to be competitive from the first races.”

Max Gazzarata: “I am very happy to have managed to close this two-year agreement with Elia Sammartin, his experience, combined with our technical skills developed in recent years of hard work with the Honda CRF 450R, will be an excellent combination to attempt the attack to the World Title. An Italian rider managed by an Italian team which is in turn supported by the Italian distributor of Honda offroad. The objectives are very clear: to be competitive from the first appearance.

Egidio Motta, CEO Honda RedMoto. “After the streak of victories in the S4 class, the one dedicated only to asphalt, we strongly felt the need to become protagonists again in the most prestigious category, the S1GP. The choice fell on Elia, who has the right motivations and great experience to make the Honda brand once again a protagonist in specialties.”

Another new entry in S1GP will be Andrea Stucchi.
