METTET WILL HOST THE BELGIAN GRAND PRIX UNTIL 2026

 

Martigny (Switzerland), 3 January 2024 – XIEM and the Circuit Jules Tacheny of Mettet are happy and proud to announce the signing of a new three-year agreement for the organization of the Belgian Grand Prix in Mettet. This new partnership guarantees the organization of the Belgian Grand Prix on the Circuit Jules Tacheny for the next three seasons.

 

The great success of the Belgian Grand Prix at Mettet 2023 convinced both parties to continue this cooperation also thanks to the professionalism and availability of all parties including the FIM.

 

Danilo Boccadolce, XIEM CEO, promoter of the Supermoto World Championship: “We are very happy of this three-year contract with the historic Mettet circuit and we want to thank the President of the circuit Mr. Freddy Tacheny for his renewed trust and availability. The supermoto on the Mettet circuit has a particular charm so we are certain that it will be a beautiful news for all riders and fans”.

 

Freddy Tacheny, President of the Mettet Circuit: ”We are pleased and proud to continue the cooperation with the promoter of the Supermoto World Championship for the next three years. In 2024 the Belgian Grand Prix will still be the final round of the season where the titles will be awarded, a weekend coinciding with the Superbiker, excellent news for all our spectators who will attend the two most important events on the Supermoto planet, namely the title of World Champion and the title of Superbiker”.

 

The appointment for the 2024 edition is for 4, 5 and 6 October.
