COUNTDOWN TO 2025 SEASON IS STARTED

Martigny (Svizzera), 17 January 2025 – The countdown to the 2025 FIM Supermoto World and European Championship is started.

Great enthusiasm also thanks to the presence of new teams and important changes of “shirts” that will make the new season even more interesting and hard-fought, which also features important innovations, one of the most important is the new management of the S1GP qualifications divided into a first round Q1 followed by Q2 (nine riders) and the new Superpole (three riders) that will assign a point to the first three riders in addition to the Metzeler prize money, the new European Championship class S2 reserved for 125 2T and 250 4T motorcycles and the European Junior Championship that will be held over three heats (one on Saturday) in some rounds of the season. Another important novelty is the flat-rate expense contribution for the riders who will participate in the Sardinia Grand Prix.

The season will start in the well-tested Albaida Circuit (Spain) which is already working to host the first GP (Comunitat Valenciana) scheduled for March 29th and 30th, followed in May for the fourth consecutive year by the GP of Sardegna (Tramatza-Italy) followed in June by Germany in St. Wendel. In July the world and european circus moves to the new venue Hungary on the Visonta circuit where work is underway for the new off-road section and sky section. In September the historic Busca circuit (Italy) will host the Piemonte Grand Prix, then for the first time the FIM SuperMoto of Nations will be hosted by the Czech Republic and as usual the championship will end in Belgium on October 11th and 12th in the famous city circuit of Mettet.
