St. Wendel (Germany) 1st June 2025 – Yevsevii Kovalov (Husqvarna) was the author of another masterful race and made no mistakes at the third appointment of the SM Junior. The rider took the pole position as well as two solid victories. Mark Luca Iovita (Husqvarna), second, and David Zsolt Bereczki (Husqvarna), third, rounded off the podium.
SM Junior Race 1
Yevsevii Kovalov (Husqvarna) did not make any mistakes and, thanks to a perfect start, took the lead of the pack after the first corner. The Ukrainian rider’s race pace was unbeatable in the first part of the race and allowed him to open a solid gap over his chasers. Paul Niewoehner (Husqvarna) tried to keep the leader’s race pace but could not go any closer to his rival. The duo opened a gap and was followed by Mark Luca Iovita (Husqvarna), who battled it out for third place with David Zsolt Bereczki (Husqvarna).

SM Junior Race 2
At the start of the SM Junior race2 Kovalov was perfect once again releasing the clutch at the right time before the first corner and becoming the race leader. The riders behind him suffered a crash which forced home rider Paul Niewoehner to abandon the race. As in race1, Kovalov’s race pace was phenomenal and this time Iovita and Bereczki battled it out for the runner up spot. The Romanian rider had to watch out from the attacks of the Hungarian rival who tried to overtake him till the final lap. Iovita and Bereczki, second and third respectively, joined Kovalov on the podium. The Ukrainian rider continues to collect victories and apparently he does not want to stop.
