S1GP TO LAND IN HUNGARY FOR A THRILLING BATTLE IN VISONTA

Visonta (Hungary), 10 July 2025 – The S1GP Supermoto World Championship is ready to thrill Hungary this weekend when riders will take part in the fourth round of the season at the brand-new circuit of Visonta. The new track features a very technical tarmac session and a more classic off-road as well as a beautiful sky section. The wait is almost over for a race which is expected to be breathtaking with the best riders in the World ready to battle it out for the victory on a new track.

All eyes will be on the S1GP class where the battle for the title is tougher than ever. The current Championship leader German Marc Reiner Schmidt, on his TM, will get to Hungary determined to confirm his advantage. Thanks to his aggressive and solid riding style, Schmidt proved to be the rider to defeat. Furthermore, the rider took part in the German race after undergoing a delicate ankle surgery. However, the German challenger will have to watch out from fierce Lukas Hollbacher. The Austrian rider, second in the standings, is in great shape and his thirst for victory makes him a dangerous rival on any kind of track. No less is Frenchman Steve Bonnal, who will try to reach the podium in any way to get closer to the top duo.

The new layout of the Visonta track will be a challenge for all riders who will have to adapt quickly in order to find the right rhythm and the best trajectories. This could shuffle the cards and bring unexpected surprises.

The battle is tough also in the SM Junior. Ukrainian Yevsevii Kovalov is leading the standings with determination, but he will have to defend himself against the attacks of Romanian Mark Luca Iovita, who is always ready to battle it out for victory. A name to keep an eye on during this race is the one of home rider David Zsolt Bereczki. The rider, who is currently third in the standings, will be supported by the Hungarian crowd and has a deeper understanding of the terrain, elements that could give him a solid advantage useful to reach a prestigious result.

After a break, the S2 will get back to the track in Visonta, promising strong emotions. French Melvin Viola is the undisputed leader and is determined to prove his superiority. Behind him, compatriot Adrien Sarda and Belgian Noah Champagne will try to gain points and put pressure on Viola, in a class that often delivers unpredictable races full of overtaking maneuvers.

The appointment is this weekend in Visonta, Hungary, for an unforgettable event which will surely be packed with emotions for the Supermoto fans.
