Visonta (Hungary) 12 July – The S2 class made its comeback. The French rider Melvin Viola (Honda) was the author of a thrilling performance in Race 1, which allowed him to come home with the first victory of the season. In the SM Junior Yevsevii Kovalov (Husqvarna) became the pole man for the fourth time in a row.
S2 Time Practice:
The S2 time practice took place on a wet track. Just a few minutes after the opening of the pit lane heavy rain flooded the track and the race directors were forced to close the off-road session. The French rider Adrien Sarda (Honda) immediately took control of the operations chased by Nathan Terraneo (GasGas) and Melvin Viola (Honda). It seemed that the French rider could keep the best time but a few minutes before the end of the race Swiss Nathan Terraneo reached the pole position showing his competitiveness in his first race on a 250 – 4 – stroke bike.
