Vysoké Mýto (Czech Republic) 26 September 2025 – The most important event of the Supermoto season is without a doubt the FIM SuperMoto of Nations. The 2025 edition will take place in Czech Republic, Visoke Myto, a circuit that already hosted some rounds of the S1GP in the past and where everything is ready to welcome the Nations that will try to take the coveted Trophy dedicated to Francesco Zerbi.
Eleven countries between “senior” and Junior Teams will line up their best three riders at the start of the 2025 Trophy of Nations.
France is the current holder of the Trophy as well as the nation that won this event the most, but this time France will not see the most representative rider of the history of the sport, Thomas Chareyre among their riders, instead they will rely on the three riders that were appointed: veteran Sylvain Bidart, young and promising Steve Bonnal as well as experienced Nicolas Cousin.
The title holder, however, will have to watch out because two Nations have enrolled two strong riders who battled it out for the title throughout the season. In order of arrival in 2024, Austria with Lukas Hollbacher and Germany with the newly crowned 2025 World Champion Marc Reiner Schmidt. The two national teams, second and third respectively last year, enrolled riders who did not join the World Championship but starred in the national Championships. The German team will welcome Markus Class, protagonist of the past seasons with excellent results.
Italy will have to find the right balance given the result achieved in the past edition. Team leader Elia Sammartin will have to take the team close to the podium which is reachable for a Nation that wrote epic pages in the history of the Trophy of Nations.
Czech Republic, “home team” with Milan Sitniansky, Pavel Nedved and Eric Provaznik will do his best in front his public.
Others Nations will be Switzerland, Lithuania, Great Britain and FIM Europe team.
An important role at the Trophy of Nations is played by the Junior teams, which have had reserved races in the last years. These teams carry the future riders of the sport. Also, in the Junior category there are nine Nations enrolled and once again France will have to defend the title taken last year, others will be Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Portugal and Poland.
