Albaida (Spain) – 29 March 2026 – Both the S2 and SM Junior categories were hard-fought and exciting. Yevsevii Kovalov, making his debut in S2, took home the win with a victory and a third-place finish; David Solt Bereczki made no mistakes and secured the Albaida race with a decisive double victory.
S2 Race 1
When the lights went out, Nathan Terraneo (Yamaha) took the lead from pole position, but he slid at the first corner. Yevsevii Kovalov (KTM) was involved in the crash; the Ukrainian managed to restart immediately, but Terraneo could not get his bike started and rejoined in last place. Mark Luca Iovita (GasGas) took the lead of the pack, followed by Max Serra Ginestra (Honda) and Noah Champagne (TVS Racing). Kovalov began to recover from seventh position and, with a few laps to go, moved to the front of the group, going on to win with a good lead over Iovita, with Serra Ginestra in third. Despite the crash at the first corner, Nathan Terraneo staged a great comeback that saw him finish in ninth position.

In this second and final heat of the day, Nathan Terraneo made no mistakes: a perfect start and a blistering pace for all 19 laps of the race. The Swiss rider showed incredible strength, setting qualifying-level lap times and proving to be the fastest rider on the track. Behind him, an excellent Leonardo Lapadula (Team 11) held firmly onto second place, having to defend himself in the closing laps from Yevsevii Kovalov. After another perfect start, Kovalov had to recover positions and made a few small errors during the race, which prevented him from getting close to Terraneo. In the overall daily standings, however, Yevsevii Kovalov was able to take the top step of the podium thanks to his victory in the first heat; Leonardo Lapadula finished second overall, with Spanish rider Max Serra Ginestra on the third step. Despite his win in Race 2, Terraneo had to settle for fifth place overall.

SM Junior Race 1
The SM Junior category experienced this first heat of the season through a duel between two riders: David Zsolt Bereczki (Husqvarna) and Lorenz Bang (KTM). Bang held onto his first position, while Bereczki, after a difficult start, had to recover several positions during the first lap. Once he caught up to the race leader, he tried to overtake several times, but Lorenz Bang defended brilliantly. However, the Hungarian rider had a better race pace than his opponent and, during the final lap, launched the decisive attack that allowed him to cross the finish line first. Third position went to Mark Szabo (Husqvarna), who got the better of the English rider Edward Darnton (TSV Racing).
