Albaida (Spain) – 29 March 2026 – The two Sunday races of the S1GP were exciting and captivating. Marc Reiner Schmidt (Team 11) won the Fast Race and the Super Final but had to settle for second place overall. Lifting the most important trophy was Julen Avila Cortes (KTM MTR Team) thanks to two solid races; Steve Bonnal (TSV Racing) finished third. In the Rookie Cup, the victory went to Mitja Krasniqi (Gazza Racing).
S1GP Fast Race:
Marc Reiner Schmidt (Team 11) set off to make up for the setback in the first race; the German was perfect at the start and, with a clean overtake at the first corner, took the lead. The rider aboard the Ducati immediately created a gap behind him. Steve Bonnal (TSV Racing) moved into second position but suffered a crash during the race, which caused him to lose positions and finish in fourth place. Julen Avila Cortes (KTM MTR Team) and Ferran Cardus (Honda) put on a great fight that rewarded the speed of the KTM rider, who finished in second place with Cardus third. In the Rookie Cup, Adrian Sarda (Team Insane Parts Suzuki), the French rider coming from S2, achieved an excellent result in the overall standings with a sixth-place finish.

With his victory in the Fast Race, Marc Reiner Schmidt secured pole position on the grid and did not waste the opportunity to immediately take the lead. In this final race, the German rider once again demonstrated his speed, leaving nothing to his rivals. Only after taking the Joker Lane did he rejoin behind Ferran Cardus, but it took only three laps for him to regain the lead and go on to win undisturbed. Julen Avila Cortes had a difficult start to the race and had to push hard to return to the top of the standings; in the closing laps, he battled with Cardus and, thanks to the Honda rider’s passage through the Joker Lane on the final lap, he was able to overtake him and take second place, securing the necessary points to win the GP. Steve Bonnal finished third both in the race and in the overall standings. In the Rookie Cup, Raphael Payet (KTM) won the heat, but the overall triumph went to Mitja Krasniqi.
