Cagliari (Italy), 12 May 2026 – Today at the Department of Tourism of the Sardinia Region, the press conference was held to present the second round of the FIM SuperMoto World Championship, Gran Premio della Sardegna, which will be held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 on the Tramatza International Circuit. The conference was chaired by the Councilor for Tourism Dr.Franco Cuccureddu, who together with the President of the budget and Councilor Dr. Alessandro Solinas and Danilo Boccadolce – XIEM CEO wanted to underline to the media the importance of this event in its fourth edition, which has become a point of reference for motor events on the island. The investments made in recent years, thanks also to the contributions of the Region, have enhanced the circuit by improving its structures and track, now it is ready to host more events and become a point of reference for team tests. The councilor wanted to underline that the event is not only important for what it represents in sporting terms but also for the economic impact on the territory. The major newspapers and televisions of Sardinia were present at the conference and hope that the relationship can consolidate and continue for the future.
