Tramatza-May 16th-The S4 European Championship making its seasonal debut saw the victory of Francisco Gomez Requena (GasGas) in the first race, second position for Edoardo Bertola (KTM MTR Racing) and third Alessandro Sciarretta (TSV Racing); in S2 pole position goes to Leonardo Lapadula (Team 11) and in SM Junior to David Zsolt Bereczki (Husqvarna).
S4 Time Practice:
Great performance for home hero Michele Cuccu (Gazza Racing), who managed to find a perfect lap, going on to take his first pole position in the S4 European Championship. The Italian rider finished ahead of a veteran of this category, Francisco Gomez Requena (GasGas), while Alessandro Sciarretta (TSV Racing) closed out the first row. Facing difficulties were the Gourdon Brothers (Husqvarna), who completed very few laps during free practice and effectively failed to find the right setup.

S4 Race 1:
At the start, Michele Cuccu, perhaps due to the pressure of being on pole position in front of his home crowd, failed to get a good launch from the top spot. Alessandro Sciarretta, with a perfect start, took the lead of the race, but behind him, Gomez Requena immediately responded to the Italian rider, taking over the lead. Behind him, Sciarretta had to defend himself from the other Italian rider, Edoardo Bertola (KTM MTR Racing); the rider aboard the KTM passed his rival after a few laps and threw himself into the chase for the leader, but unfortunately, the time lost behind Sciarretta didn’t give him the chance to catch Gomez Requena, who won with a good advantage. Just as Michele Cuccu was finding his rhythm and running in fifth position, he slipped and crashed, ultimately finishing his race at the back of the field.
