Tramatza (Sardegna|Italy) – May 17 – Two spectacular races packed with duels in front of a large crowd at the Sardinia Circuit. Marc Reiner Schmidt (Team 11) makes no mistakes, taking home two moto victories and the red plate ahead of Elia Sammartin (BRT Racing) and Steve Bonnal (TSV Racing). In the Rookie Cup class, the victory goes to Raphael Payet (KTM).
S1GP Fast Race
Marc Reiner Schmidt gets a great start from his pole position and takes first place, but behind him, Elia Sammartin doesn’t let him break away. The two riders immediately built a massive lead over their rivals thanks to an incredible pace. Just like what happened in Race One, Sammartin is extremely fast in the dirt section, but on the asphalt section, he couldn’t find the right opening and had to settle once again for second position behind Marc Reiner Schmidt. For third place, there was a battle between Steve Bonnal and Julen Avila Cortes, with the Spaniard getting the better of the Frenchman. In the Rookie Cup class, an excellent performance from Mitja Krasniqi, who finishes first in his category.

When the lights went out, Schmidt had a slight hesitation and Elia Sammartin seemed to be able to take first position, but the German, with a maneuver on the limit, held the position, making contact with his rival. Fortunately, both riders stayed on their bikes. Marc Reiner Schmidt still managed to take first position, followed by Steve Bonnal, with Sammartin in third. The three riders put on a fantastic race; the first to enter the Joker Line was Sammartin, followed a few laps later by Schmidt. Bonnal, who found himself in the lead, pushed to the absolute maximum to build a gap so he could take the Joker Line and still come out in first. Unfortunately, a slight hesitation at the entry of the Joker Line cost him precious seconds, handing the victory to Marc Reiner Schmidt. On the overall podium for the day, Schmidt wins the GP and takes back the lead of the World Championship, with the second step of the podium going to Elia Sammartin and third to Steve Bonnal. In the Rookie class, victory goes to Raphael Payet.
