Martigny (Switzerland), 28 July 2025 – Nicot Vertemati Factory Racing has experienced an intense and demanding first half of the season, facing technical advancements, unexpected injuries, and the ongoing pursuit of top-level competitiveness. The season opener at the first Grand Prix in Albaida, Spain, marked a key starting point. Although Michael Vertemati didn’t finish in the points, he showed determination and a strong desire to grow, with steadily improving performances and great synergy with the team, who worked tirelessly to provide him with a competitive bike from the very first sessions. The true breakthrough came at the second round of the World Championship in Tramatza, Sardinia, where Michael, coming off a heavy crash during training, showed great character. Despite suffering shoulder and arm bruises, he earned valuable points for the overall standings and delivered a steadily improving performance throughout the weekend. The result rewarded both the team’s hard work and the rider’s grit, highlighting the potential within the squad. At St. Wendel, Germany, the third round proved particularly challenging, not least because of Michael’s still-recovering physical condition. Returning to the track after missing a round of the Italian Championship, he managed to complete all the heats and collect crucial data for the upcoming races. Nicot Vertemati Factory Racing now looks ahead to the second half of the season with confidence. The goals are clear, and the direction is right. The team remains committed to pushing forward, striving for increasingly ambitious milestones with focus and determination.
Josep Vertemati, Team Manager: “A mixed first half of the season, with both highs and lows. Tramatza brought us some key results, and we’ve made technical progress at every round. Michael has always given his all, even under tough conditions. Our goal remains a top-ten finish in the World Championship, and we’re working methodically and with full dedication to get there. I want to thank our entire staff for their hard work, and most importantly, our sponsors, whose essential support allows us to compete at this level.”
Michael Vertemati , rider : “This first part of the season hasn’t been without its difficulties, but we’ve always responded with determination.
